Pope Leo XIV Statue
Pope Leo XIV
Robert Francis Prevost was born in Chicago, Illinois, and entered the Order of Saint Augustine, where he was ordained a priest in 1982. After years of faithful missionary service in Peru, he served as Bishop of Chiclayo and later as Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops in Rome. On May 8, 2025, he was elected the 267th Pope — the first American and first Augustinian to lead the Catholic Church — taking the name Leo XIV in honor of Pope Leo XIII and his great social teachings.
From a Chicago classroom to the Chair of Saint Peter — God calls leaders from every nation to shepherd His Church.
About This Statue
Hand-designed by Little Drops of Water and finished by hand in fine resin, Pope Leo XIV is shown in his white papal cassock and zucchetto, a small pectoral cross at his chest and his hand raised in a warm blessing. Each piece carries gentle variations in shading and brushwork — the mark of true craftsmanship. Sized perfectly for a nightstand, bookshelf, desk, or the quiet corner of a home altar.
A Blessing to Bring Home
This is a beautiful statue to bring to your priest for a blessing — a simple and meaningful act of faith that makes it a true sacramental for your home.
A Reflection
From a classroom in Chicago to the Chair of Saint Peter, the life of Pope Leo XIV reminds us that God calls people from every corner of the world to serve. Keeping him near makes his story approachable for the youngest members of the Church — a way to feel close to the Holy Father, and to learn to pray for him, as he asks us all to do.
