St. Thérèse Plush Doll
She is soft enough to sleep with and meaningful enough to treasure for a lifetime. This 4.75" Saint Thérèse of Lisieux plush doll wears the brown habit and cream veil of the Carmelite order, her arms cradling a bouquet of roses — the shower of roses she promised to send from heaven to those who loved her.
Hand-designed by Little Drops of Water with embroidered features and no hard pieces, she is made to be carried, hugged, and loved by little hands discovering the saints for the very first time.
About Saint Thérèse
Born in Alençon, France in 1873, Thérèse entered the Carmelite convent at just fifteen years old. There she developed her beloved Little Way — the spirituality of doing small things with great love. Despite suffering from tuberculosis, she radiated joy and trust in God until her death at age twenty-four. Her autobiography, Story of a Soul, has since moved millions of hearts. She was canonized in 1925 and named a Doctor of the Church in 1997.
"You know well enough that Our Lord does not look so much at the greatness of our actions, nor even at their difficulty, but at the love with which we do them."
— Saint Thérèse of Lisieux
A beautiful gift for:
- First Communion or Confirmation
- Baptism or Christening, especially for a little Thérèse
- Her feast day, October 1
- A comfort gift for someone facing illness
- Christmas, a name day, or a sympathy gift in a time of loss
She belongs in a child's arms — on the pillow at bedtime, in the car seat on a long drive, beside the crib as a soft first patron. She also pairs beautifully with a small saint statue on the family prayer shelf.
Care: Spot-clean gently with mild soap and water. Approximately 4.75" tall.
